Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms are an agreement between you and Teascan LLC, a California limited liability company ("Teascan," "we," "us," or "our"), the company behind AI Play Designer ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) and use the Service as a coach or staff member. By entering any player information, you confirm you have the right to do so and that you will limit it to first names or jersey numbers as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Accounts

You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

• Automatic renewal: paid plans are sold through Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase (your statement and receipts will show the sale as made through Link, Stripe's checkout service), at the price and interval shown at checkout, and renew automatically at that same price and interval until you cancel. Subscriptions started before Stripe became the merchant of record stay billed by us, through Stripe, on the terms they began under.
• Taxes: listed prices exclude any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. Tax is calculated at checkout from your billing address and shown before you pay.
• Free trial: the Coach and Program plans start with a 7-day free trial that includes 30 AI credits; printing unlocks once your paid plan starts. You enter a payment method at signup, and unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged its price automatically when the trial ends. We email you a reminder about three days before that first charge. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. You can also skip the trial and start paying right away. The Playbook plan has no trial and is charged at signup.
• Cancellation: you can cancel anytime from your account/billing settings, with no need to call or email anyone. Access continues until the end of the paid period, and cancellation stops future renewals.
• AI credits: AI features use credits as described on the pricing page. Your plan's credits refresh each billing period, and credits left over at the end of a period do not carry over. Extra AI credits you buy separately do carry over from one period to the next.
• EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW, PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• enter players' full names, contact details, photos, or other sensitive personal information;
• misuse, probe, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its security;
• resell or redistribute the Service without permission.

6. Your content

As between you and us, you own the playbooks, plays, and rosters you create — we don't claim ownership of them. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you (including sending play descriptions to our AI provider to generate plays).

Football plays and formations are common, functional concepts. Another coach — or the AI, responding to a similar description — may independently create the same or a similar play. That isn't a violation of your rights, and this section doesn't give you an exclusive claim over a formation or play design in general, only over your own account's copy of it.

7. AI output

Disclaimer. This tool uses artificial intelligence to generate football plays and strategy suggestions. AI outputs are generated probabilistically and can contain errors, illegal formations, or tactical inaccuracies. All AI-generated plays should be reviewed and verified by a qualified coach before use.

AI-generated plays and suggestions are tools to assist your coaching judgment. They may be imperfect and are provided without warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular outcome. You remain responsible for the plays you call.

8. Availability & disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEASCAN LLC IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and its data, email support@aiplaydesigner.com from the address on the account and we will delete it, as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and Teascan LLC each consent to personal jurisdiction there.
